The Realtek RTL8111H(S)-CG 10/100/1000M Ethernet controller combines a triple-speed IEEE 802.3 compliant Media Access Controller (MAC) with a triple-speed Ethernet transceiver, PCI Express bus controller, and embedded memory. The RTS5423 is a USB3.2 Gen2x1 hub and PD3.0 controller supporting up to 2-port full featured Type-C, and 3-port Type-A connectors combined with the full function of a 4-port USB3.2 Gen2x1 HUB, a 4-port USB2.0 HUB, and a 2-port PD3.0 controller. The RTS5423 can easily update FW with the ISP tool. The RTS5423 supports charging, and is compatible with BC1.2 and PD3.0.The RTS5423 deploys 10Gbps 1:2 MUX on upstream/downstream port 1 for Type-C plug flip-ability. Also, an LDO regulator is integrated, supplying stable 3.3V for the RTS5423. For DP-Alt mode, there is a HPD pin used for DP plug detection on the RTS5423. With high resolution ADC, the RTS5423 can monitor the current and voltage of each port simultaneously for OCP, UVP, and OVP protection. There is also an integrated configurable Billboard device, which is important where Alt-Mode is applied.
