Snapdragon powered HTC Bolt boasts lightning-fast speeds with Sprint

From food deliveries to Formula 1, we've become conditioned to the idea that "faster is better." We certainly have the same expectations for our smartphones. And the new HTC Bolt delivers. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, the Bolt is Sprint’s fastest smartphone to date.

The HTC Bolt speeds are supported by Sprint’s advanced network and the integrated Snapdragon X10 LTE modem, which incorporates LTE Advanced with 3X20 MHz Carrier Aggregation. Category 9 download speeds can reach up to 450 Mbps, thanks to the X10 LTE modem’s ability to connect to LTE networks, engineered to use up to three full-bandwidth LTE connections simultaneously. By taking advantage of these connections, data rates are increased and network response times are faster, which means less internet lag and speedier downloads.

The Snapdragon 810 supports the HTC Bolt’s 16MP camera and Optical Image Stabilization technology, designed to reduce blurriness and capture sharp photos and videos in low light. Autofocus clocks in at 0.3 seconds, so you won’t miss the perfect snap. The smartphone also features an 8MP front camera with a super-wide panorama mode, Auto HDR, and integrated flash, making sure that everyone can get in on the picture even in low light.

The HTC Bolt comes with Adaptive Audio earphones, which feature HTC BoomSound Adaptive Audio, a technology that can scan surrounding ambient noise and adjust the audio output to suit your personal preferences. These ergonomic USB Type C headphones are designed to deliver 24-bit sound with impactful bass and treble, so the audio is comparable to that of a movie theater or a live concert.

For those who’d prefer to use Bluetooth for music streaming the HTC Bolt has built in Qualcomm aptX technology, so you can lose the wires without compromising on audio quality. aptX is an innovative audio coding technology that supports CD-like quality audio over Bluetooth. With traditional Bluetooth comes limited bandwidth. By applying a bit-rate efficient algorithm to large files at the source, and then restoring them for playback on the device, aptX cleverly answers the challenge of how to reliably and consistently transmit crisp audio over a wireless connection.

The HTC Bolt runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS and has a built-in fingerprint sensor that unlocks your phone in as little as 0.2 seconds. It has a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and an all-metal unibody designed to be water- and dust-resistant. A 3200mAh battery provides usage for up to a day or more (dependent on network, features configuration and other factors), and Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology is engineered to charge the HTC Bolt up to 75 percent faster than devices that use conventional charging methods.

The HTC Bolt comes in Carbon Gray and Glacier Silver. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space, which is expandable up to 2TB of space with optional SD cards.
