Qualcomm Appoints Yasumasa Nakayama as Vice President and President of Qualcomm Japan
Qualcomm Incorporated today announced the appointment of Yasumasa Nakayama to vice president and president of Qualcomm Japan. Nakayama’s appointment will be effective immediately and he will report directly to O.H. Kwon, senior vice president and president of Qualcomm APAC.
Nakayama joined Qualcomm in 2004 and has played an important role in driving Qualcomm’s growth and diversification in-region. In his most recent role, Nakayama led the sales and customer engagement teams within Japan for Qualcomm. Nakayama fostered relationships with industry partners across handsets, automotive and IoT, and drove opportunities in Japan to expand into XR, automotive and industrial IoT.
