Qualcomm Appoints Brett Simpson as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations

Qualcomm Incorporated today announced the appointment of Brett Simpson to the position of senior vice president of Investor Relations. In his role, Simpson will have oversight of Qualcomm’s investor relations strategy, guiding communication around the company’s long-term vision and growth strategy. His appointment is effective immediately and he will report directly to Akash Palkhiwala, executive vice president, CFO and COO of Qualcomm Incorporated. 

“Brett’s deep financial acumen and broad industry expertise make him well suited to lead Qualcomm’s investor relations strategy during a time of growth and transformation for the Company,” said Palkhiwala. “His nearly three decades of experience analyzing global technology markets brings invaluable external perspective that will help strengthen our investor dialogue as we execute our strategy.”  

Simpson joins Qualcomm following a more than 25-year career as the Co-Founder and Partner of Arete Research where he has advised the world’s largest technology investors with deep specialization in semiconductors, AI compute, and advanced technology supply chains. Simpson holds a bachelor’s degree from Robert Gordon University.
