Designed for earbuds, headphones and speakers, these are Qualcomm Technologies’ most advanced audio platforms ever which, with the combination of high-performance, low power compute, on-device artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced connectivity, will ignite a new era of audio innovation to deliver breakthrough user experiences.

The Qualcomm S7 Pro also includes Wi-Fi connectivity at micro-power, to extend the range of audio devices far beyond what is possible today using only Bluetooth — allowing users to walk around a home, building or campus while listening to music or making calls.

 

On-device AI for responsive and personalized sound

These platforms deliver a step-change in on-device AI capabilities and, along with our neural network accelerator, delivers concurrent processing at ultra-low power. Working in conjunction with active noise cancellation (ANC) and personal sound amplification technologies, the on-device AI will enable your earbuds and headsets to become much more responsive to your needs, environment and preferences as you transition throughout your day.

 

Wi-Fi connectivity at micro-power

The Qualcomm S7 Sound Pro Platform includes a world-class Wi-Fi solution that works alongside Qualcomm Expanded Personal Area Network (XPAN) technology to extend the capability and range of audio devices far beyond what is possible with only Bluetooth, while maintaining the ultra-low power performance we have come to expect from earbuds and headsets.

 

Enhanced sound experiences 

With Snapdragon Sound Technology Suite and Qualcomm XPAN, up to 192kHz lossless music streaming can be delivered over micro-power Wi-Fi, so listeners can hear every detail of their music in stunning audiophile quality. 

The micro-power Wi-Fi and Qualcomm XPAN will also deliver unprecedented bandwidth at low latency which, combined with AI-driven sensor compute capabilities, enable a step change in head-tracking latency for unparalleled  immersive spatial experiences.

 

aptX Adaptive audio codec has received official certification for high-res audio delivery from the Japan Audio Society
