Razer Forge TV brings Android and PC gaming, entertainment and more to the TV screen

Winner of two Best of CES 2015 awards, including Best Gaming and People’s Choice, the Razer Forge TV micro-console is designed to power and connect entertainment and gaming in the living room.

Powered by a Qualcomm® Snapdragon 805™ processor, Razer Forge TV runs on Android TV OS and features 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. With help from the integrated Qualcomm® Adreno™ 420 GPU, Forge TV is designed to give gamers console-quality graphics and an immersive gameplay experience. According to Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO, “the incredible power and performance of the integrated Qualcomm Snapdragon solution made Razer Forge TV possible. We are happy to share this Best of CES acknowledgment with Qualcomm Technologies and we look forward to more collaborations."

You can enjoy a wide range of games and applications available on Google Play on larger displays with Forge TV connected to an HDTV over HDMI. Enjoy precision control with the Razer Serval, a Bluetooth Android gaming controller with an included phone clip for Android gaming on-the-go, and connect up to four controllers to Forge TV for a shared-screen multiplayer experience.

In Q2 of 2015, Razer is expected to launch a beta version of its Razer Cortex: Stream. The software lets users play games from their PCs on larger screens with ultra-low latency in Full HD resolution over a standard Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. To complete the living room PC gaming experience Razer developed the Razer Turret, a wireless gaming mouse and lapboard that offers the power of a full-fledged gaming keyboard and mouse in a sleek and ultra-thin form factor designed to fit perfectly on your lap. With its fully anti-ghosted gaming keyboard and high-precision 3500 DPI mouse, Razer Turret comes with dual wireless connectivity via Bluetooth 4.0 LE or Wireless 2.4 Ghz to ensure lag-free gameplay and compatibility across multiple devices.

Razer Forge TV also works in tandem with your smartphone. You can enjoy streaming content stored on your Android device using Google Cast, and navigate through content with a mobile remote control app that is voice-control-enabled. Google’s Cloud Save feature syncs progress among various Android devices so you can pick up a game or video where you left off.
