Snapdragon Spaces Comes to ThinkReality VRX in 2023 for Developers to Build the Enterprise Metaverse
Highlights:
- ThinkReality VRX supports a full suite of end-to-end services and is the first virtual reality (VR) device to be optimized by Snapdragon Spaces™ technology to allow enterprise developers to expand the ecosystem and reimagine reality.
- The next-level headset, which will be available worldwide starting in 2023, complements the notable list of Lenovo’s enterprise XR devices powered by Snapdragon including the ThinkReality A6, ThinkReality A3 and now ThinkReality VRX.
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is collaborating with longstanding partner, Lenovo on their newest device, ThinkReality VRX. Designed with high-resolution pass-through capabilities for mixed reality (MR) applications, ThinkReality VRX is a collaborative endeavor between Lenovo and cutting-edge Snapdragon® XR2+ Gen 1 platform to further the expansion and implementation of the enterprise metaverse and virtual workspaces.
Lenovo’s newest device is the world’s first VR headset to implement support for Snapdragon Spaces. For developers, this means that they will be able to create experiences on VR headsets that are much more like AR on optical see-through devices such as the ThinkReality A3 AR glasses. This will offer developers portability between AR, MR and VR to bring experiences to-life, regardless of the device form factor. Lenovo ThinkReality VRX is engineered to be the VR solution of choice for training and collaborating in immersive 3D. The six-degrees-of-freedom (6DoF) all-in-one VR device features purpose-built construction and exceptional performance.
The price for the enterprise VR solution will be disclosed upon availability. For more information visit the ThinkReality VRX web page to find out more.
