Over the past six years serving as Qualcomm president, and through his 22 years with the company, Steve Altman’s leadership and contributions have helped enable the Company’s successful growth, evolution and expansion. He has served as president of QTL and has been a member of the executive committee since 1992. Altman joined Qualcomm in 1989 and is the chief architect of the Company’s licensing business model. After representing Qualcomm as outside counsel for several years, Aberle joined Qualcomm in 2000. Prior to becoming president of QTL, he held several roles within QTL, including SVP & general manager. He has been instrumental to the success and growth of QTL, playing a leading role in structuring, negotiating and finalizing key license agreements with the Company’s leading licensees.
