Qualcomm Recognized as Having One of the Top Leadership Development Programs in North America

Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, today announced that it has been ranked seventh in having a "Top Leadership Development Program in North America" for 2005 by Leadership Excellence magazine.

Among the reasons Qualcomm was selected were its leadership development strategy and emphasis on global leadership, creative thinking and innovation. In addition, Qualcomm stood out among the nearly 500 applicants because of its attention to developing and sustaining leaders at all levels. The Company was also recognized for its broad involvement across the businesses and the take-home value of programs.
