Qualcomm Featured as One of DiversityInc.com's "Top 50 Companies for Diversity for 2001"

SAN DIEGO -- May 31, 2002 -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, today announced that it was recently ranked in the top 50 in DiversityInc.com's "Top 50 Companies for Diversity for 2001." Qualcomm was selected based on its commitment to workforce diversity, active involvement with community and professional organizations, corporate board representation and inclusive company benefits.
