SAN DIEGO - August 11, 1998 - Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) today announced the appointment of Jonas Neihardt as director of government relations. Before joining Qualcomm, Mr. Neihardt served as the director for congressional affairs at the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA).
