Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), a leader in mobile communications for the transportation industry, today announced that it has renewed its contract with Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN), one of the nation's largest truckload transportation companies. An early adopter of the satellite-based, OmniTRACS® mobile information management system, and a Qualcomm customer since 1992, Werner has extended its contract for an additional six years.
