The FullVision display you loved on the LG G6 is coming to LG’s new Q series, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Mobile Platform. And that’s just one of the impressive features you’ll find on these mid-range smartphones.

“The LG Q6 is a blend of premium features, great performance and attractive pricing,” said Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “That is extremely important to us as we look at the way consumers are using smartphones around the world.”

The LG Q series comprises three powerful phones with various amounts of memory and storage. the Q6 includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, the Q6 Plus touts 4GB of RAM with 64GB of ROM and the Q6α has 2GB RAM and 16GB of ROM.

LG continues its commitment to stunning optics, with the inclusion of the FullVision display. Thanks to its unique 18:9 aspect ratio, there’s more to see on the phones’ elongated 5.5-inch, 2160 x 1080 screen. The enhanced LG UX 6.0 user interface intuitively offers different viewing experiences for video clips or web streaming as well as improved multitasking by supporting two square windows side by side.

The phones feature a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing wide-angle camera. A 100-degree lens on the front lets you capture the perfect selfie while the Square Camera Mode makes it easy to create collages and “share your squares.”

The Q6 phones sport a highly durable curved metallic frame created from 7000 series aluminum strong alloy. A minimized bezel adds to the phones’ sleekness. Unlike other screen-to-edge smartphones, the Q6 phones are ergonomically designed to prevent users from accidentally touching the screen while held.

The Q6 series also includes LG’s proprietary Face Recognition feature, engineered to help you unlock your Q6 with ease. This feature is supported by Qualcomm Technologies’ “phone tilt” algorithm, which is engineered to “wake-up” the Q6 via facial recognition sensors running on the power-and battery-efficient Snapdragon sensor core.

“The Q series is our way of getting the superb experiences with the essence of the LG’s premium line-ups to more consumers’ hands and pockets.” Cho stated.

All variants come in Astro Black and Ice Platinum. Additionally, the Q6+ is available in Marine Blue, the Q6 in Mystic White and Terra Gold, and the Q6α in Terra Gold.

The LG Q6 series is now available in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America.
