Snapdragon powered ASUS ZenFone 3 smartphones match power to passion

Quality runs in the ASUS ZenFone smartphone family. Launched at Computex, Taiwan’s annual electronics show, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe, the ZenFone 3, and ZenFone 3 Ultra are the latest smartphones to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon processor technology. Given the wide range of options, customers can choose the ZenFone 3 that best suits their needs.

Powered by the Snapdragon 820, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe combines powerful processing with a sleek, full-metal body design to create a top-of-the-line smartphone with a premium feel. It also features an X12 LTE modem engineered to deliver an excellent connectivity experience, including fast downloads, uploads, web browsing, and smooth video streaming.

The ZenFone 3 Deluxe also touts a 23-megapixel camera and integrates Sony’s IM318 sensor with Snapdragon supported advanced photo-taking capabilities such as fast autofocus and optical stabilization. And to ensure that your photo-viewing experience truly reflects the real world, the phone supports Qualcomm TruPalette and Qualcomm EcoPix technologies for a more accurate and vibrant display.

An Adreno 530 GPU boosts the graphics performance of the ZenFone 3, engineered to be up to 40 percent faster than the previous generation. The phone also incorporates Qualcomm Kryo, our most advanced 64-bit custom CPU architecture. With twice the power savings of its predecessor, the Kryo CPU is designed to deliver impressive performance and battery savings. And low-battery stress is a thing of the past with the ZenFone 3 Deluxe thanks to Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging technology.

ASUS also announced two additions to the ZenFone family: the ZenFone 3 and the ZenFone 3 Ultra. The eponymous, 5.5-inch ZenFone 3 is the first commercially available phone to feature the Snapdragon 625. Thanks to the improved efficiency of the Snapdragon 625 processor, the ZenFone 3 delivers big-screen graphics and super-fast connectivity with great battery life. Meanwhile, the ZenFone 3 Ultra is perfect for those who like to take their multimedia on the go. A tablet-phone hybrid with a 6.8-inch display, the Ultra taps into the Snapdragon 652’s excellent connectivity and crystal-clear graphics for the ultimate video experience. The phone supports full HD videos with 1080p resolution. Its DTS high-definition audio system is 41 percent louder than similar tablets but with less distortion.

So no matter your passion — photography, entertainment, or even gaming — the ASUS ZenFone 3 series has a phone that matches your needs. ASUS says to expect the ZenFone family of devices to start shipping later this summer globally.
