Turing Robotics boasts super strong, secure smartphone powered by Snapdragon

Turing Robotics Industries aims to build a new kind of smartphone. The Turing Phone aims to keep pioneering computer scientist and cryptographer Alan Turing’s legacy alive. How? With a bevy of privacy-minded perks, and a body built from a liquid-metal alloy that’s stronger than steel.

Inside the Turing Phone’s fortress of a frame you’ll find a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 8GB storage, running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Meanwhile, Turing Robotics states that the Turing Imitation Key Chipset Krypto is designed to be just as strong as the phone itself—protecting both your device and your data from cracks of all kinds.

With the 13MP camera you can capture your favorite memories, and store them with all the security of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude until you choose to pull them up on the 5.5-inch 1080p FHD display. No Kryptonian space crystals required.

Now about that liquid-metal alloy. Liquidmorphium is a metal alloy of zirconium, copper, aluminum, nickel, and silver, said to be tougher than titanium or steel.

The Turing Robotic Industries team claims that the phone’s custom, built-in privacy protection uses end-to-end authentication to make sure your sensitive data isn’t up for grabs to bad actors. With decentralized authentication technology users can exchange financial information and converse freely with the solid reassurance that it will only reach the intended party. To do so, the phone verifies the identity of other Turing devices without a third-party cryptographic key manager.

The Turing Phone will be available in three standout models: Beowulf, Cardinal, and Pharaoh.
