Snapdragon 412 and 212 processors announced

In September of last year, Qualcomm Technologies extended the benefits of LTE and Carrier Aggregation to entry-level smartphones with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 and 210 processors. Building upon that commitment to drive high-performance computing in this tier, we are announcing upgrades to these processors in the form of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 412 and 212.

Each will feature increased speeds support for more responsive interactions and an improved experience. The Snapdragon 412 and 212 will each boast a higher frequency CPU and Qualcomm Adreno GPU for improved performance. The Snapdragon 412 will also have improved memory speeds. Both processors still contain the same great features as their predecessors.
