Perfecting the art of the selfie? The new Asus ZenFone Selfie, announced by Asus at Computex Taipei, is here to help. And unique camera features supported by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor are designed to further step up your photo game.

With a sleek ergonomic arc design, the ZenFone Selfie tapers off to 3.9 mm at its edges and comfortably fits with the user’s grip. Its front-facing PixelMaster camera has a huge 13MP resolution and an f/2.2-aperture, 88-degree wide-angle lens to capture every moment. Access the front camera’s selfie mode with the phone’s ZenMotion technology by swiping an “S” on its screen, and easily capture your selfies with the intuitive rear selfie button. You can rest assured knowing that everyone and everything is part of your selfie in the Selfie Panorama mode, which expands the outlook up to 140 degrees. And as you shoot, the ZenFone Selfie’s Beautification Mode brightens skin tone and smooths blemishes.

The Selfie’s camera also incorporates Backlight (Super HDR) technology to improve light balance, to help you create more lifelike photos. In Low Light mode, the user can capture clear photos or videos throughout the night or in dark environments. And both the front and rear cameras include dual-LED Real Tone flash technology that creates the most natural illumination.

The rear camera’s other features are also impressive: 13MP resolution, with a large f/2.0 aperture lens that helps you take better low-light shots, and super-fast laser auto-focus that helps you take clear, sharp pictures close-up and in low-light conditions. And the rear camera’s macro focusing lets you shoot with breathtaking clarity as close as 6cm.

The Snapdragon 615 works behind the scenes of your ZenFone Selfie photo shoot, designed to make sure you get the perfect shot while keeping your battery life strong in the process. The Snapdragon 615 includes support for advanced camera capabilities like rapid-fire photography, designed to reduce blurriness in photos caused by shaky hands. Video can also be taken and edited in Full HD. With integrated 4G LTE technology support for speeds up to 150Mps, the Asus ZenFone’s Snapdragon 615 processor is engineered to let you to share your high quality photos and footage faster, virtually wherever you are, and balances high multimedia performance with superior power-efficiency.

Asus also gave Computex attendees a sneak peek at its next-gen smartwatch, the ZenWatch2, following on the success of the widely praised, stylish ZenWatch, announced last September. The ZenWatch2 will be available in two sizes, and like its predecessor, will be powered by a Snapdragon processor.
