ASUS ZenWatch: a fresh-faced smartwatch with advanced features

0

ASUS has launched its first smartwatch, the ASUS ZenWatch. Powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 400 processor, the ZenWatch runs on Android Wear, has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and Bluetooth 4.0. This elegantly designed water resistant timepiece offers more than 100 watch-face choices to pair with its genuine leather strap.

The square design frames a 1.63-inch AMOLED display made of 2.5D curved durable glass. The Remote Camera feature lets the wearer capture images they normally couldn’t because the viewfinder would be difficult to see. Using gesture-controlled features, staying on top of business meetings is made simple with Presentation Control, which turns the watch into a remote control and time manager. Easily silence incoming calls by just placing a hand over the ZenWatch. Plus, connect the wearable with an Android smartphone to take full advantage of every feature.

ZenWatch is even a fully-integrated wellness manager. Paired with the ZenUI Wellness app, users may monitor and track calories burned, heart rate, and exercise intensity while tracking the progress of personal fitness goals with just a glance.

ASUS ZenWatch pricing and availability is still to come.
