In June we announced our participation in the United Nations Global Compact, which helps us to further align our operations and strategies with the ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
Today, we’re proud to publicly post Qualcomm’s Commitment to Human Rights—a document that outlines our commitment to respecting human rights and avoiding complicity in any human rights abuse, throughout our company, our operations and our communities.
Our values and approach to these issues are guided by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, as well as the UN Global Compact Principles.
Qualcomm’s Commitment to Human Rights describes and elaborates on our commitments to the human rights issues most directly related to our business, industry and the communities we serve, including diverse and respectful employment; privacy; conflict-free minerals sourcing; and a healthy, safe and productive work environment (to name a few).
