Sound design is an important part of creating the six degrees of freedom (6DoF) required for the best immersive experience for your users. The Qualcomm® 3D Audio Plugin is ideal for XR(AR/VR) experiences and games.

The 3D Audio Plugin is designed to provide superior sound quality, low motion-to-sound latencies and better performance on Snapdragon™ powered devices. The Plugin features 64 simultaneous spatialized sound objects, two simultaneous Ambisonic soundfields, and customizable shoebox reverb with low motion-to-sound latency. Qualcomm Technologies' direct rendering method is designed to deliver a lower signal-to-noise ratio and better directionality than other audio spatialization solutions. The Plugin is designed to provide superior performance when Unity apps are run on Snapdragon-powered devices as reverb is offloaded to the DSP freeing up CPU cycles.
