Qualcomm introduces IoT connectivity modules
Our steadfast dedication to the progression of IoT connectivity has culminated in the Qualcomm QCC730M and Qualcomm QCC74xM modules. These modules are perfectly suited for IoT applications in the smart home, smart appliances and more.
QCC730M is a dual-band, micro-power Wi-Fi 4 module. Offering a dedicated MCU @ 60MHz, 640kB SRM and 1.5 RRAM, integrated hardware crypto accelerator, and secure boot, debug, and storage. QCC730M leading micro-power Wi-Fi can be the prime component for battery-powered IoT applications especially IP cameras, sensing, and smart locks.
QCC74xM is our first programmable connectivity module, offering flexibility to run applications with the RISC-V. It offers comprehensive connectivity including technology support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, Thread and Zigbee-ready. It’s high-performance computing enables rich multi-media capabilities and Wi-Fi 6 speeds. It also has an advanced feature set including built-in security acceleration engine, security services, and is PSA Certified Level One. The combination of the media and audio rich capabilities along with CAN and Ethernet interfaces make it a true connectivity powerhouse, empowering developers with a uniquely capable module. This unlocks additional applications including IoT hubs or hotspots as well as smart home applications.
