Introduction to Robotics - RB5 for education

For “Introduction to robotics” we have designed practical exercises using the Qualcomm RB5. The project covers ten weeks from assembly of the robot with control, over visual servoing and SLAM to planning and integration. The students get exposed to basic methods, ROS (Robot Operating System) and experimental work with systems. The course includes ~100 students having access to their own robot. From the experience we have student design systems people tracing in warehouses and autonomous driving on the UCSD campus.
