Qualcomm's Eudora® E-mail Named "Best E-mail Software" by PC World in its Annual World Class Awards

Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), pioneer and world leader in digital wireless technology, today announced that its Eudora e-mail software has been recognized with a PC World, World Class Award as "Best E-mail Software." The award ceremony will be held June 18 at the CEBIT conference in New York. Eudora will also be featured in the July 2003 edition of PC World magazine, a much-anticipated issue, since many of the publication's readers use it as a product buying guide and reference tool. PC World is the world's largest computer magazine, with a readership of 6.2 million.

PC World editors conducted an exhaustive review of thousands of Internet, digital office, software and hardware products, evaluating them for usability, performance, technology, innovation and value. In awarding Eudora the "Best E-Mail Software," they cited the benefits Eudora provides, including security, flexibility and power.

"We're delighted that Eudora's long standing reputation for high quality e-mail software is now further validated by PC World's World Class Award," said Bill Ganon, vice president for Qualcomm's Eudora. "We hope to continue earning this level of recognition from our next major release - Eudora 6.0 - which is due for commercial release in late June."

Products in all categories that shipped between May 2002 and May 2003 were eligible for consideration by PC World's editors for the 2003 World Class Awards. A complete list of 2003 World Class Award winners is also available online at www.pcworld.com.
