SAN DIEGO -- March 29, 2000 -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) today announced that it has recognized the outstanding performance of 11 of its suppliers in conjunction with the Company's 4th annual Key Supplier Conference. The awards were presented this month on behalf of Qualcomm.
Qualcomm awarded supplier of the year awards to five companies that demonstrated the highest combined delivery, quality and customer service for each Business Unit throughout 1999. Award recipients included Sawtek, Inc., Volex, Inc., Agilent Technologies, Inc., Phillips Plastics Corporation and Telex Communications, Inc.
Qualcomm honored Herco Technology, Xerox Business Services and Ramtech Manufacturing with the Significant Contribution Award for demonstrating extraordinary service. Qualcomm presented Special Recognition Awards to IBM Microelectronics, Inc., Texas Instruments Incorporated and LSI Logic Corporation who were recognized for working closely with Qualcomm to become an integral part of our supply chain team and significantly contribute to a very successful calendar year 1999.
