SAN DIEGO -- March 2, 1999 -- Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) today announced that the trial in the lawsuit between Qualcomm and Telfonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas will be postponed. On February 26, 1999, thetrial judge indicated that the trial will be postponed from the present trial date of April 6, 1999 until early June of 1999. The Company expects the court to issue an order this week setting forth the revised schedule.
