Snapdragon and Manchester United welcome back Copilot+ PC on back of shirt for the upcoming 25/26 season

Teamwork makes the brand-collaboration dream work

The pitch – pristine. The crowd – amped. The anticipation – palpable. With the first sighting of the iconic Manchester United kit, the cacophony of the fandom erupts. As the team walks forward, the Snapdragon logo is prominently featured on the front of the shirt. And for select matches this season, the Microsoft Copilot+ PC logo will grace the back.

There’s been a lot of excitement about brand collaborations that bring together technology and sports in innovative ways, ultimately to convert brand awareness into advocacy. To put it simply, brand value builds business value. And few do it as well as Snapdragon and Manchester United.

It’s more than a logo on the front of the storied football club’s kit. Since the 2024/2025 season, the powerhouse duo has shown the 1.1 billion devoted Manchester United fans and followers worldwide how technology can enhance and enrich their experiences. But we’re not just talking about any tech. Snapdragon can bring these Red Devil devotees closer to their favorite team and players through new and innovative engagements. Highlighting the shared dedication to best-in-class innovation and elite performance, groundbreaking activations have ranged from an on-shirt QR code for special AR-guided access to #ShotonSnapdragon campaigns with the Snapdragon Insiders, a community of nearly *20 million tech enthusiasts.

As the biggest front-of-shirt launch ever for the Club, the results speak for themselves. 80% of Manchester United fans love Snapdragon.

Appropriately so, as we have been bringing our cutting-edge technology and premium experiences to other devices, including automotive, extended reality (XR) and, most recently, to the next generation of Windows PCs. 64% of fans believe Snapdragon is a leader in laptop processors.

Queue Copilot+ PCs— the fastest, most intelligent and most secure Windows PCs ever built. Building on years of collaboration and innovation, Microsoft introduced a new category of Windows PCs, marking the start of a new chapter of AI innovation — and partnered with Snapdragon to help make it possible. Just last year, Snapdragon X Series platforms were the first to enable Copilot+ PCs, powering a new era of AI-powered experiences. Optimized for these new workloads, the platforms run AI directly on the device, bringing benefits to users including increased responsiveness, more personalization, greater reliability and enhanced privacy. All this while providing the best performance without sacrificing battery life.

How did we celebrate this industry-transforming moment? As part of our brand collaboration with Manchester United, Snapdragon can nominate the logo of a technology partner for back-of-shirt placement for select matches. So we took it to the pitch last season – Snapdragon on the front of the shirt, Copilot+ PC on the back. Since then, Copilot+ PC has seen over 365 million logo exposures to date and a +12% increase in brand relevance among club fans. Offering this prime position to Microsoft again was a no-brainer.

Flash forward to today, the collaboration between Snapdragon and Microsoft continues to grow. In May, Microsoft launched new ultra-thin and lightweight Surface Copilot+ PCs – the  Surface Pro, 12-inch and the Surface Laptop, 13-inch. Both are powered by Snapdragon X Series platforms and represent the next chapter of Surface innovation, delivering exclusive AI-powered experiences to more users. With all-day battery life and powerful performance plus enhanced efficiency, these Copilot+ PCs enhance productivity and creativity through on-device AI.

What better way to celebrate than once again with Manchester United? And of course, we leveled it up this time. The Copilot+ PC logo will be prominently featured on the back of the men’s kit for Snapdragon Cup at Old Trafford on August 9 and all domestic cup matches in the 2025/26 season, as well as all the women's and Academy team matches all season long.

But it’s more than just logos on a shirt. It shows how groundbreaking tech and innovative collaboration brings the extraordinary – both on and off the pitch.
