The transformation in the automotive industry is nothing short of incredible… it is an incredible opportunity for the automotive industry. You will separate the winners and the losers. Cristiano Amon

Qualcomm Technologies currently serves as the technology provider of choice for the global automotive industry, and the Snapdragon Digital Chassis is redefining the driving experience. Cars have transformed into connected computers on wheels, and car companies are starting to resemble tech companies.. By 2030, software will represent 40 percent of a car’s value (up 30 percent from today), according to de Meo — and cars that aren’t connected to the cloud will be the exception, not the rule. Software defined automobiles will be a boon for automakers and consumers alike.

When cars are intelligently connected to the cloud, automakers can track the health of a car over its entire lifespan and provide valuable service alerts to drivers in real time. Drivers will also benefit from advanced infotainment systems (integrated GPS, traffic and infrastructure alerts, etc.), AI-assisted driving features, and CV2-X — making the future of driving smarter and safer.
