For those always on-the-go, ASUS debuts the ASUS NovaGo, one of the first announced Windows laptops powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC Platform.

Jetsetters and go-getters now have the tools to connect, create, and collaborate on this Always Connected* PC, thanks to the NovaGo’s Gigabit LTE connectivity beyond-all-day battery life, and full Windows 10 S experience.

Staying connected, even without Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi networks can be limited in terms of reach. If users want to get their laptops online (without needing to connect to an external hotspot), they’re restricted to tapping into Wi-Fi networks at home, work, or their local coffee shop. As the world’s first Gigabit capable laptop designed for truly connected mobility, the ASUS NovaGo can solve these Wi-Fi woes with the Snapdragon 835’s integrated Snapdragon X16 LTE modem.

Like Snapdragon 835 powered smartphones, the mobile PC platform supports the ability for users to switch automatically between Wi-Fi and blazing fast Gigabit LTE networks where download speeds are 3X to 7X faster than the average U.S. broadband speed. Users can have the freedom to access the internet virtually anywhere around the world, anytime.

Beyond-all-day battery life

Productivity shouldn’t be hampered by a dwindling battery. The NovaGo boasts 22-hour battery life, which is up to 2X longer in active use than those of current laptops, so users can continue to work — or binge-watch dozens of TV episodes — without interruption.

The 2-in-1 device also features Connected Standby, a battery-saving function that allows the device to sync data with the cloud on standby (just like a smartphone) and instantly turn on. When the NovaGo is on Connected Standby, its battery life is extended 4X to 5X longer than competing solutions.

Armed with Windows 10 S

The NovaGo is equipped with the full desktop iteration of Windows 10 S, which means users can access a familiar Windows OS and work virtually seamlessly across Microsoft Office applications. Users can copy an image on Microsoft Word and paste it to a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation, or create a graph on Microsoft Excel and insert it onto a Microsoft Word document — with minimal-to-zero lag. And all of these views are displayed on the NovaGo’s 13.3-inch full HD screen.

All on one platform

The Qualcomm Kryo 280 CPU, Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU, and Qualcomm Hexagon 682 DSP are all integrated onto the Snapdragon 835 mobile PC platform, which is roughly 50 percent smaller than its competition. In turn, the NovaGo is not only power-efficient, without compromising on performance, but also ultra-thin and easy to carry.

The ASUS NovaGo is armed with breakthrough capabilities that are changing the laptop landscape, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile PC platform is helping to pave the way.
