Stream 4K Ultra HD video with Snapdragon: demo

We recently demonstrated some of the great new features of the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 810 processor, packed with cutting-edge technologies that support innovative user experiences. One of these experiences is 4K Ultra HD video streaming.

Devices powered by Snapdragon 800 class processors are designed to capture and display 4K Ultra HD video, and it looks stunning. But they can also wirelessly stream this video to a 4K capable TV with our prototype 4K streaming adapter.

The Snapdragon 810 also features a new video compression technology called High Efficiency Video Codec, also known as HEVC or H.265. It is designed to compress the video up to 40% more than previous technologies, while at the same time improving video quality, allowing you to capture, download, and display amazing 4K content without interruption.

Watch the video above to see 4K Ultra HD streaming demo in action. Visit our CES site for more technology demos showcased at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show.
