As the premiere sports entity in the United States, the NFL has had to come to terms with its relationship to technology. Previously, most devices were banned on the field and many stadiums did not have Wi-Fi. But that's changing. Knowing it has to compete with the home-viewing experience, the league has made strides to up the ante on the in-stadium experience for technophiles. Also, teams have employed next-gen technology to train athletes to perform at the highest level possible. Here is a look at some forward-looking NFL tech both on the field and in the stands.
