BlackBerry gets bigger with the new BlackBerry Z30

BlackBerry Z30If you believe that bigger is better, Wednesday's BlackBerry announcement of the Blackberry Z30 could be really big news for you. Packed for power and performance with a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ S4 Pro processor, the Z30 boasts a stunning 5-inch Super AMOLED display that makes whatever you're watching larger, clearer and more vivid. But the Z30 doesn't just stop at a bigger screen.

Productivity Beast

What makes the Z30 a standout for multi-taskers and efficiency aficionados everywhere is what made BlackBerry famous from the start–it's an incredible tool for productivity on the go. The Z30 will run on BlackBerry's newest operating system, BB 10.2, that includes several updates to help you get even more done wherever your busy life takes you.

BBM

BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) has always been an iconic feature in BlackBerry phones. Now, with new BBM features included in the Z30 and BlackBerry's announcement that BBM will be available for Android and iOS, connecting nearly a billion devices, BBM is better than ever.

With the new BBM you can:

  • Get a preview of any message as it arrives in whatever app you're in, and immediately dismiss it or tap it to read the full content and respond
  • Instantly reply to the message without leaving the app you're in
  • Tap the various icons on the Lock Screen to see an instant preview of your most recent messages and notifications even when your screen is locked

BlackBerry Priority Hub

The new operating system also includes BlackBerry Priority Hub that learns what conversations and what people are important to you and then collecting those priority messages across your email, social networking and other accounts for instant access to the conversations most important to you.

Intuitive Keyboard

With its superior keyboard and intelligent software the keyboard on the Z30 actually learns how you type so you can get your message across faster.

Dynamic Antenna

Smartphone functionality doesn't mean much without a strong network connection. The new generation BlackBerry antenna technology dynamically tunes reception to give you better connectivity, faster data transfers and fewer dropped calls even in low signal areas.

Big Battery Life

The Z30 packs the biggest battery in any Blackberry to date with up to 25 hours of mixed use so you can go all day with movie watching, file sending and whatever your day calls for.

Natural, Stereo Sound

The Z30 also features stereo speakers with BlackBerry Natural sound that's exclusive to BlackBerry and makes BBM Voice and BBM Video chats sound like you're in the same room with all the nuances and variations in tone.

Verizon Wireless is the first carrier to announce that it will carry the Z30 with more carriers likely coming in time for this year's holiday shopping season.
