3 Cs of the Samsung GALAXY S4 with stock Android from Google

Tech fans cheered as Google announced their version of the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ processor powered Samsung GALAXY S4, loaded for the first time with a pure, stock Android operating system.

Samsung Galaxy S4 with Stock Android

Loading the phone with stock Android makes it function very similarly to Google’s Nexus phone, popular for its simplified, pared-down interface.

3 reasons this might be the phone for you:

1. Clean: The phone comes pre-installed with just a handful of core apps so you have the apps you need and can add the apps you want.

2. Customizable: Because it will be an open source phone you’ll be able to change several features to make it your own–everything from menus to icons, animations and more.

3. Current: Google promises to deliver prompt system updates, similar to how it treats its Nexus line of phones, so you’ll always have the latest version running on your phone.

The Google version of the Samsung GALAXY S4 will be unlocked, meaning you can buy it independent of a new contract, and available on June 26 from AT&T and T-Mobile.
