Congratulations to the Snapdragon One Charge Challenge winners

You may remember that a few months back, we sent one phone featuring a Snapdragon™ processor around the world on one battery charge to make a video. The total distance traveled was 36,312 miles – all on one charge. You also may remember that we created a Facebook contest where you could show your ideas on what you would do on one charge. Well, out of all the entries, the winners have been selected, and here’s what they won.

The Grand Prize Winner was Mike Kai. Here was his idea:

My name is Mike and I love racing go-karts. Every year I do a team endurance race that runs for 12 hours in Las Vegas. My challenge is to run a Snapdragon-powered phone on the go-kart and stream a live video feed to the Internet on one charge for as long as possible.

Great idea, Mike. His entry got the most votes from fans and from our judging panel, and he wins a Samsung Galaxy S II (featuring a Snapdragon S3 Processor) and a T-Mobile Springboard tablet.

Mike wasn’t the only winner. We also had a group of First Prize Winners, who won either a phone or tablet featuring Snapdragon processors:

And last, but certainly not least, we had three Runner Up Winners – recipients of the coveted Snapdragon-branded Snuggie:

  • Lenny Rajunov
  • David Hiti
  • Justin Johnson

Congratulations to these winners, and thanks to everyone that entered.
