Snapdragon 400 GPS Performance—Faster Location Fix, More Satellites in View

The video starts with a popular maps application and shows how fast a device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2GHz dual-core CPUs acquires a GPS satellite signal and calculates a position solution. We then use a GPS test, which is publicly available on Android Play Store, to see how many active satellites are in view and ready in the Snapdragon device versus a competitive device. This goes to show: More CPU cores doesn't necessarily mean better performance.
