In the last chapter, we discussed the evolution of mobile technology, and the benefits that each generation gave us:

1G invented mobile, laid the groundwork for coverage, and proved it was possible to make and receive calls while on the go, but on a limited basis.

2G brought mobile to the masses, increasing voice capacity so billions of customers could enjoy mobile calls.
