What do I need to register for a Qualcomm ID?

In order to create a Qualcomm ID and access your company’s materials, you’ll need to use an approved business email address. As long as your company has an approved business domain on file with us, approval of your Qualcomm ID registration is automatic.

Please note that our process has changed and you no longer need an Organization Number to register.

Can I still register for a Qualcomm ID, even without an established business relationship?

Even if you don’t have an established business relationship with Qualcomm, or if automatic approvals have been disabled for any reason, we can still approve your Qualcomm ID registration. Please note, however, that you will only have access to Product Kits and materials that are available to the public. To establish a formal business relationship with us, please contact our Sales team.

How do you verify my identify?

Our registration process includes identify verification using the email address you provided. If you don’t receive your Qualcomm ID verification email, please check your spam or junk folders; you must acknowledge receipt of this email to continue.

Do I have to respond to the Qualcomm ID Registration Service verification email?

Yes, you will need to verify your email address. Once you initiate registration for a Qualcomm ID, you’ll receive up to four reminder requests over a 24-day period. Here are a few tips to ensure you don’t miss the Qualcomm ID verification email:

  1. Search for an email from this email address: [email protected]
  2. Search for an email with this subject line: Validate your email to complete Qualcomm ID registration
  3. Confirm that your company allows you to receive messages from qti.qualcomm.com
  4. Ensure our emails are not filtered as spam or junk mail
  5. Confirm that your company allows network connectivity to links hosted on https://myaccount.qualcomm.com with embedded fields and tokens, as you will be required to click on such a link to acknowledge your registration

If your registration was rejected, please start the registration process again.

How do I change the Legal Entity (Organization\Org ID) associated to my account?

If you need to change your Legal Entity (Organization\Org ID) after you have already registered, do the following:

  1. Log in to https://myaccount.qualcomm.com with your existing Qualcomm ID credentials.
  2. On the Profile tab, the Company Information section has a field called Company or university. That field will be a pick list if you have other Organizations that you can switch to. This is controlled by approved business domains on email addresses used for registration.

-Note: If you do not see a pick list on the Organization field, then this means you do not have alternative Organizations to switch to. If the fields are all blank, log out on the bottom left and then log back in with a fresh browser session

-Note: If the drop-down list does not fly out when clicking the arrow, click on the name itself
  3. Press EDIT, make any other changes to your profile, and then press SAVE.
  4. Log out and then log back in with the same credentials you used before, and your access will be changed to what is assigned to the new entity you have chosen.
  5. -Note: If you use Chipcode, you will also need to log in to https://chipcode.qti.qualcomm.com directly using your Qualcomm ID credentials to update software code repositories. As soon as you log in, the update occurs instantly. Qualcomm employees impersonating your access will not see the repositories change until you log in yourself.
