Our premium Snapdragon Wear platforms feature an ultra-low power co-processor that supports always-on and always-sensing smartwatches. This co-processor works alone or in conjunction with the main processor designed to deliver colorful always-on watch faces, a dedicated sports mode for tracking long workouts, and a traditional watch mode that extends the usefulness of the watch when your battery is low and you have forgotten your charger.
Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear platforms support a range of connectivity technologies, including 4G LTE Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy, and 8c Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) location capabilities. Our modems, which have been optimized for wearables are certified on carriers around the world and allow you to leave your phone behind while enjoying the freedom to call, chat or stream directly from your smartwatch.
The Qualcomm® Snapdragon Wear™ 4100+ platform, comprised of a powerful applications processor and ultralow power co-processor, extends our hybrid architecture and is designed to deliver super-fast performance, and connectivity, a smarter AlwaysOn experience, and extended battery life for next generation connected smartwatches.
The Qualcomm® Snapdragon Wear™ 3100 is based on an ultra-low power hierarchical system architecture. In this hierarchical architecture, the high-performance quad core A7 processor, the highly efficient integrated DSP, and the new ultra-low power co-processor work in conjunction with each other to fundamentally look to re-imagine smartwatch experiences - enhance existing ones, bring-in new ones - while supporting extended battery life. Available in both connected (4G LTE) and tethered (Bluetooth + Wi-Fi) versions.
