They are the first devices to feature the Qualcomm® Expanded Personal Area Network Technology [(XPAN)](https://www.qualcomm.com/products/features/XPAN), amplifying [Snapdragon Sound](https://www.qualcomm.com/products/features/snapdragon-sound)™ Technology and bringing the latest in audio innovation. ![Qualcomm-image](https://s7d1.scene7.com/is/image/dmqualcommprod/MWC25ArticleInline02688x410?$QC_Responsive$&fmt=png-alpha&wid=700) ![Qualcomm-image](https://s7d1.scene7.com/is/image/dmqualcommprod/MWC25ArticleInline03688x410?$QC_Responsive$&fmt=png-alpha&wid=700) **What is XPAN technology?** Qualcomm [XPAN](https://www.qualcomm.com/products/features/XPAN) enhances [Snapdragon Sound](https://www.qualcomm.com/products/features/snapdragon-sound) by connecting your earbuds and headphones to your device via Wi-Fi, so you can enjoy crystal-clear, lossless audio streaming at up to 192kHz- even from another room or different floor. Unlike Bluetooth alone, Qualcomm XPAN intelligently leverages the Snapdragon [S7+ Gen 1 Sound Platform](https://www.qualcomm.com/products/internet-of-things/consumer/audio/snapdragon-s7-gen-1-sound-platforms)'s micro-power Wi-Fi for superior 96k lossless audio at lower power, while still utilizing Bluetooth® for voice calls. The earbuds specifically support high-fidelity 96kHz/24-bit audio, providing revolutionary sound quality without worry of disconnecting from Bluetooth. Qualcomm XPAN truly delivers a new level of freedom and fidelity for wireless audio. This year's MWC event highlighted the incredible advancements being made in mobile and PCs, designed to amplify everyday experiences. From improved performance to immersive audio and seamless connectivity, there is so much to look forward to this year! *What new technology from MWC are you most excited about? **[Tell us on Discord!](https://discord.com/invite/snapdragon)*** [Announcements](https://www.qualcomm.com/snapdragon/news?tags=Announcements) [PC](https://www.qualcomm.com/snapdragon/news?tags=PC) [Mobile](https://www.qualcomm.com/snapdragon/news?tags=Mobile) When commenting in the Snapdragon Insiders forums, please follow our terms of use found [here](https://www.qualcomm.com/site/terms-of-use).
