It was an exciting year of reveals at Mobile World Congress for Snapdragon! This huge event showcased breakthroughs for mobile in performance, audio, and connectivity, all engineered to supercharge your experiences.

Now let's dive into some of the new devices powered by Snapdragon® processors.

One of the most noteworthy was the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3x launch. Sporting a 45 TOPS NPU for seamless multitasking, this laptop powered by Snapdragon X processor makes AI accessible for everyone and is designed to keep up with your workflow with its long-lasting battery.

Nothing introduced the Phone (3a) Series, powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 to elevate their mid-range lineup with advanced features. Equipped with Snapdragon Elite Gaming™ features, the Phone (3a) Series delivers more stable frame rates for extended gaming sessions. The series also boasts an advanced triple-camera system with optical zoom, a brighter display, and Nothing OS innovations like Essential Space—all wrapped in two uniquely refined designs.

Xiaomi launched a new phone, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, and earbuds, Buds 5 Pro, both powered by Snapdragon. They are the first devices to feature the Qualcomm® Expanded Personal Area Network Technology (XPAN), amplifying Snapdragon Sound™ Technology and bringing the latest in audio innovation.

What is XPAN technology?

Qualcomm XPAN enhances Snapdragon Sound by connecting your earbuds and headphones to your device via Wi-Fi, so you can enjoy crystal-clear, lossless audio streaming at up to 192kHz- even from another room or different floor. Unlike Bluetooth alone, Qualcomm XPAN intelligently leverages the Snapdragon S7+ Gen 1 Sound Platform's micro-power Wi-Fi for superior 96k lossless audio at lower power, while still utilizing Bluetooth® for voice calls. The earbuds specifically support high-fidelity 96kHz/24-bit audio, providing revolutionary sound quality without worry of disconnecting from Bluetooth. Qualcomm XPAN truly delivers a new level of freedom and fidelity for wireless audio. 

This year's MWC event highlighted the incredible advancements being made in mobile and PCs, designed to amplify everyday experiences. From improved performance to immersive audio and seamless connectivity, there is so much to look forward to this year!
