Being a Snapdragon Insider means unforgettable experiences – and our latest meet-up in Paris was nothing short of epic.
Last November, we brought together some of the most passionate mobile photographers from the UK, France, and Germany in one of the world’s most photogenic cities.
New Snapdragon Insiders Jacob, Bijal, Guy, and Sheena joined us after winning a contest with Mike Will, alongside veteran Insiders Robin and Anajat from Germany, David and Sebastien from the UK, and Andres and Jean-François from France.
The plan: Learn, Shoot, Connect
After introductions, it was straight into the action. Mike mapped out a walking photography tour across Paris, designed to challenge and inspire, with every stop offering a chance to master different techniques and lighting.
First up: the iconic Pont de Bir-Hakeim: the dream spot for playing with symmetry, lines, and river reflections. If you've seen Inception, you know the vibe.
Mike then dropped the bombshell: the two best photographers of the day would win a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra powered by Snapdragon a game-changer for mobile photography.
With the stakes set, our Snapdragon Insiders got snapping. From street performers at the Palais de Chaillot with the Eiffel Tower looming above, to dizzying views from the VIP deck of the Arc de Triomphe, the city became their canvas.
As night fell, it was time to crank the creativity up: under the glittering Tower, our Snapdragon Insiders slowed shutter speeds and painted the night with jaw-dropping light trails.
More than just great photos
But this wasn’t just about the perfect shot, it was about creating memories.
Over mountains of Italian food at Pink Mamma, friendships formed fast as the group shared stories, laughs, and a healthy dose of photo battle banter.
Mike crowned Robin and Andres the day's champions, their winning shots a masterclass in composition, clarity, and creativity. (Scroll down to see just how fierce the competition was!)
After a packed day, we checked into the colourful M Hotel for some well-earned rest before heading home — phones full of memories and minds buzzing with inspiration.
The takeaway? We want more
Bringing our community together sparked not just amazing photography, but new connections, fresh skills, and unforgettable moments.
