How did you start your journey as a Snapdragon Insider?

스냅드래곤 인사이더즈로서의 여정을 어떻게 시작하게 되셨나요?

As a football and travel content creator, I first learned about Snapdragon through their collaboration with Manchester United. I’m a big fan of the team and I had the chance to create some promotional content with Snapdragon^® technology around that collaboration, which was the start of my journey as a Snapdragon Insider.

축구 및 여행 콘텐츠 크리에이터로서, 스냅드래곤이 맨체스터유나이티드와 파트너십을 맺었다는 소식을 듣고 스냅드래곤에 대해 처음 알게되었습니다. 저는 팀의 열렬한 팬이고, 이번 스냅드래곤 컵 행사에 참석하게 된 계기로 스냅드래곤 및 스냅드래곤 기술에 대해 홍보 콘텐츠를 제작할 기회를 얻었고, 이것이 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈로서의 여정의 시작이었습니다.

How has Snapdragon technology helped with your content creation?

스냅드래곤 기술이 콘텐츠 제작에 어떤 도움이 되었나요?

Because I use my smartphone camera in a football stadium so much, I often have to capture someone from very far away. Before I found devices powered by Snapdragon, I actually wouldn't feel confident to take pictures that were too far away. But using devices powered by Snapdragon, I started taking more of those shots, and people who saw them would ask how I got them so clear. The zoom on the smartphone cameras powered by Snapdragon is so powerful, it's had a huge impact on the quality of my shots.

저는 축구 경기장에서 주로 스마트폰 카메라를 사용하기 때문에 아주 멀리서 누군가를 포착해야 하는 경우가 많습니다. 스냅드래곤이 탑재된 스마트폰을 사용하기 전에는 너무 멀리 있는 사진을 찍는 데에는 자신이 없었습니다. 하지만 스냅드래곤이 탑재된 스마트폰을 사용하면서는 이런 사진들을 더 많이 찍기 시작했고, 그렇게 찍힌 결과물을 본 주변 사람들은 어떻게 그렇게 선명하게 찍었는지 자주 물어보곤 했습니다. 스냅드래곤이 탑재된 스마트폰 카메라의 줌 기능은 매우 강력하고 선명해서 사진 품질에 아주 좋은 영향을 미칩니다.

You were invited to attend the Snapdragon Cup in San Diego this year—what was your favorite memory from that experience?

올해 샌디에이고에서 열리는 스냅드래곤 컵에 초대받으셨는데요, 그 경험 중 가장 좋았던 추억은 무엇이었나요?

Meeting the Manchester United players and coaching staff. It was so incredible to meet a lot of world class players so very closely. As a football fan, I want to say thank you again to Snapdragon for giving me that opportunity and creating an unforgettable memory for the rest of my life.

맨체스터 유나이티드 선수들과 코칭 스태프분들을 만난게 제일 기억에 남습니다. 세계 정상급 선수들을 이렇게 가까이서 만날 수 있다는 것 자체가 제겐 정말 놀라운 일이었습니다. 축구팬으로서 이런 기회를 주시고 평생 잊지못할 추억을 만들어주신 스냅드래곤에게 다시 한 번 감사 인사를 전하고 싶습니다.

I had the opportunity to meet Erik ten Hag, the head coach of Manchester United, and I told him, “Please, do very well this season and take a new trophy for Manchester United!” I really hope Snapdragon continues as a Manchester United sponsor for a very, very long time.

On top of that, I also got to meet other Snapdragon Insiders from all over the world, so we talked about how they use Snapdragon technology in their work—or in their lives.

특히, 맨체스터 유나이티드의 에릭 텐 하그 감독을 만날 기회가 있었는데, 그때 직접 “이번 시즌 잘해서 맨체스터 유나이티드에서 새로운 트로피를 가져가주세요”라고 말했었던게 정말 기억에 남아요. 저는 스냅드래곤이 맨체스터 유나이티드의 스폰서로서 아주 오랫동안 파트너십을 유지할 수 있기를 바랍니다.

뿐만 아니라, 전 세계의 다른 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈 분들도 만나서 그들이 업무나 생활에서 스냅드래곤의 기술을 어떻게 활용하는지에 대해 이야기를 나눌 수 있었고 그 시간이 참 뜻깊었습니다. 

Out of all the Snapdragon Insiders you met on your trip, who was the most memorable?

여행에서 만난 스냅드래곤 인사이더 중 가장 기억에 남는 사람은 누구인가요?

The Snapdragon Insiders that I met were roughly 70% content creators, so I had a lot in common with many of them. They are such nice people, and many were also football content creators, so we had a lot to talk about! I still keep in touch with the Snapdragon Insiders I met in San Diego.

모두가 좋은 기억으로 남아있습니다. 제가 만난 스냅드래곤 인사이더분들의 대략 70% 정도가 콘텐츠 제작자들이어서 그분들과 저 사이에 공통점이 아주 많았어요. 너무 좋은 분들이었고, 축구 콘텐츠 크리에이터 분들도 많아서 이야기 나눌게 참 많았던게 매우 좋았습니다! 샌디에고에서 만났던 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈 분들과는 아직도 연락을 주고받고 있어요.

What advice would you give to someone who’s considering joining the Snapdragon Insiders community?

스냅드래곤 인사이더즈 커뮤니티 가입을 고려하고 있는 사람에게 조언을 한다면?

I strongly recommend becoming a Snapdragon Insider, even if you’re someone like me, who doesn't know all that much about IT and tech. When you become a Snapdragon Insider you’ll get to learn about the technology and meet the awesome people in the community! So yes, I really do recommend it.

저처럼 IT와 기술에 대해 잘 모르는 사람이라도 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈가 되어 볼 것을 적극 권장합니다. 일단 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈가 되면 기술에 대해 재미있게 배우고 커뮤니티 내의 멋진 사람들을 만날 수 있습니다! 정말 추천합니다. 

What does being named Snapdragon Insider of the Month mean to you?

이달의 스냅드래곤 인사이더로 선정된 것은 당신에게 어떤 의미인가요?

Snapdragon has been a window to a new world for me. Seeing things through the smartphone camera powered by Snapdragon was like seeing them in a new way — and now with Snapdragon Insiders, I am seeing so much more: new people, new technology…it’s like looking into the future!

I’m so grateful to be the first Korean Snapdragon Insider of the Month, and I’m very passionate to spread the word, and show the vibe, about new products powered by Snapdragon and other Snapdragon Insider activities.

I want to show everything about Snapdragon Insiders to others in Korea!

스냅드래곤은 제게 있어서는 새로운 세계를 보여주는 창이었습니다. 특히, 스냅드래곤이 탑재된 스마트폰 카메라를 통해 여러 사물을 보는 것은 마치 새로운 방식으로 사물을 보는 것과 같았죠. 이제는 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈로써 훨씬 더 많은 것을 경험하고 볼 수 있습니다. 새로운 사람, 새로운 기술… 마치 미래를 엿보는 것 같기도 하고요!

저는 한국인으로써 최초로 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈가 된 것을 매우 감사하게 생각하며, 스냅드래곤의 신제품과 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈 활동에 대해 알리고 홍보하는데 매우 열정적입니다.

앞으로도 스냅드래곤 인사이더즈로써 스냅드래곤의 모든 것을 한국에 있는 다른 사람들에게도 보여주고 싶어요!
