It’s not easy to say goodbye. That’s why Grammy-nominated electronic music duo ODESZA wanted to give their fans a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience for the final three shows of their Last Goodbye Tour at The Gorge — a beautiful, remote venue in Washington state.

So, in collaboration with Snapdragon, they created ECHOES, a one-of-a-kind art installation that must be truly seen to be believed. Six 30-foot aluminum towers with 120 LED screens produce an ambient visual soundscape that seamlessly blends ODESZA’s music with heartfelt messages from fans. 

A Dell XPS 13 Copilot+ PC with a Snapdragon® X Elite processor was central to realizing ECHOES. The team leveraged the compute platform’s leading performance and efficiency to generate the initial 3D renders of the installation during the conceptualization phase. When it came to the actual build, the team used the same computer to design and power the projection mapping onto the installation, while troubleshooting and modifying it in real time. 

Alongside the production of ECHOES, Snapdragon worked with ODESZA to create a four-part documentary series that goes inside what it took to create this immersive installation.
