AR, photography, and more with August’s Snapdragon Insider of the Month
This month’s Snapdragon Insider of the Month is probably a familiar face. For August, we’re getting to know Kevin Breeze (@KevinBreezeTV on X and Instagram, and @KevinBreeze on YouTube), a massive fan of Snapdragon, a passionate tech content creator, and a featured Snapdragon Insider in the “Behind the Silicon: Snapdragon X” YouTube series.
Let’s see what he had to say about being a Snapdragon Insider, but first, here’s a word from Kevin.
August Insider of the Month

What originally sparked your interest in technology?
I’ve been interested in technology for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid, I’d always ask my dad to take me to Best Buy to see what was new there, even if I couldn’t buy anything. Back in 2011, I started making tech videos as a hobby and my interest in tech has only grown since then. I went full time with tech content creation in 2019, and I’ve been able to spend a lot more time covering new devices, including new devices powered by Snapdragon.
Why are you a fan of Snapdragon?
It’s funny because the products I would end up naturally liking and using were all the ones with Snapdragon technology. It’s not like I had to seek out products with Snapdragon, it’s that those products end up being the best, most useful products with the best reviews — whether it’s headphones or smartphones or compute devices. So becoming a fan of Snapdragon was a super organic process for me. It just powers the best devices.
What do you like most about being a Snapdragon Insider?
I first heard about the Snapdragon Insiders program on social media. I’d been following Snapdragon on X for a while and I saw what they were doing with various Snapdragon Insiders and it was definitely something I saw myself being a part of. I started engaging more on social media and getting plugged into the community. Eventually, I was invited to Snapdragon Summit and that’s when I really felt the most connected to my fellow Snapdragon Insiders. I met people from all over the world. I feel like I have friends in so many different countries now, and that’s something I wouldn’t have without Snapdragon and its global impact.
The community is definitely the best part of being a Snapdragon Insider. The people I’ve met are truly passionate about Snapdragon and the awesome devices it powers. Seeing everyone’s enthusiasm around the brand and tech, it just makes everything better. Plus, for techies like me, it can be hard to find people who share your passions. Snapdragon Insiders has given me a whole community of people I can share my tech obsessions with.
What’s your favorite memory as a Snapdragon Insider?
My favorite memory is from Snapdragon Summit. There was a guy from Meta doing a demo of the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and he surprised all of the Snapdragon Insiders with a pair. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that much excitement, not just about getting a free product, but about getting that product. The glasses are so innovative and everyone had a lot of curiosity about them. We were so excited to try them on. The next day we went off-roading on an ATV ride and everyone wore their glasses on the ride.
They’re one of my favorite products. I use my glasses to take photos and videos, and they help me be more present in the moment. I don’t have to always take out my phone to capture the memories I want, I can stay connected to the moment and the people I’m with. These glasses are a great example of the type of tech I want to see more of — tech that adds to your life instead of distracting from it.
How has being a part of the Snapdragon Insiders community impacted your relationship with technology?
It’s been incredible to have a community that’s genuinely enthusiastic about new tech like I am. With so much tech coming out, it can be overwhelming. But being in the Discord and seeing the enthusiasm behind specific news helps sort through the noise to highlight the best launches. It makes tech seem more personal, that these are real products that real people are buying and excited about. Overall, being a Snapdragon Insider has spread a lot of positive energy, which definitely has impacted my relationship with technology.
If you were going to create a time capsule to be opened in 50 years, what device powered by Snapdragon would you put in it?
Oh, that’s a tough one. I think a device powered by Snapdragon X Elite would be a good representation of where technology is at, because this type of platform is the future. I’ve been a part of the Behind the Silicon series and not only has it been such a fun experience, but I genuinely feel like I’m witnessing history being made with the Snapdragon X Series. This is a turning point in tech people will remember for a long time.
What’s the best photo you’ve ever taken with a smartphone camera powered by Snapdragon?
That’s easy. When I was in Taipei for Computex with Snapdragon, I decided to extend my trip a little. My wife and I went to this village on the coast called Jioufen. It’s a big tourist attraction with breathtaking views. I took some amazing photos with my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The zoom capabilities for photos on the mountainside were awesome. You’d never guess the pictures were taken on a smartphone.
What does being named the Snapdragon Insider of the Month mean to you?
I appreciate the recognition! It’s very easy to be involved in the community because everyone is so nice and genuine. It really does feel like family. I’ve met some great friends and I’d say for anyone considering getting involved in Snapdragon Insiders, just jump in. Start commenting, utilize the hashtags, and connect with other Snapdragon Insiders. I’ve had such a great experience as a Snapdragon Insider, between the friends and opportunities, and being recognized for August is obviously an honor. I hope it shows others in the community that they should stay engaged.
