AI Feature User Guidelines

These AI Feature User Guidelines (“Guidelines”) govern your (as an individual) or, where applicable, the legal entity that you represent (“you”, “You”, “your” or “Your”) use of certain AI-enhanced features (“AI Features”) available on www.qualcomm.com and/or other web sites that Qualcomm Incorporated and/or its subsidiaries (“Qualcomm” or “we” or “our”) operate and on which we post a direct link to these Guidelines (collectively, the “Site”). In addition, your use of the Site is governed by the Terms of Use located at https://www.qualcomm.com/site/terms-of-use (“TOU”), which are incorporated by reference into these Guidelines. By using the AI Features, you are agreeing to these Guidelines. If you do not agree to these Guidelines, you may not and should not use the AI Features. Your access to and use of outputs generated by AI Features is also subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Legal Information Notice located here, which is incorporated by reference.
1. Purpose
These Guidelines aim to ensure that any AI Features on the Site are used responsibly, ethically, and in a manner that respects the rights of all users and individuals. They set forth the rules and best practices for acceptable use to prevent misuse and promote a positive and safety-rich user experience.
2. Be Responsible
Do not use AI features to attempt to create, upload, or share abusive or illegal content, or content that violates the rights of or harms others. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Attempt to manipulate or interfere with safeguards or security features in Qualcomm products or otherwise damage Qualcomm products, including, without limitation, hacking or attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, introducing malware or viruses or other harmful software into products or systems, circumventing any security measures or protocols implemented by Qualcomm or any other technology provider
- Create of provide misleading information about the performance capabilities or features of Qualcomm products
- Pornographic material or explicit nudity
- Hateful or highly offensive content that attacks or dehumanizes a group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, serious disease or disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation
- Graphic violence or gore
- The promotion, glorification, or threats of violence
- Illegal activities or goods
- Self-harm or the promotion of self-harm
- Depictions of nude minors or minors in a sexual manner
- Promotion of terrorism or violent extremism
- Dissemination of misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content that could lead to real-world harm
- Private information of others
- Misrepresent Qualcomm’s products, services, or business practices or otherwise damage the reputation of Qualcomm or any of its affiliates.
Your prompts and the outputs generated by AI Features may be reviewed through both automated (e.g., machine learning) and manual methods for abuse prevention and content filtering purposes.

3. Be Authentic
We reserve the right to disable accounts that engage in behavior that is deceptive or harmful, including:
- Using fake, misleading, or inaccurate information in your profile
- Impersonating other people or entities
- Using unauthorized automated or scripting processes (such as bulk or automated uploading of content through a script)
- Engaging in schemes or third-party services to boost account engagement (artificially increasing the number of appreciations, views, or other metrics)
4. Be Respectful of Third-Party Rights
Using AI Features to create, upload, or share content that violates third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights is prohibited. This may include, but is not limited to, entering text prompts designed to generate copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise infringing content, uploading an input or reference image that includes a third party’s copyrighted content, generating text that plagiarizes third-party content, or using a third party’s personal information in violation of their privacy or data protection rights.
If you want to report the misuse of your own creative work or your own intellectual property by one of our users, you can do so in accordance with Section 9 of the TOU located here.
5. Consider Accuracy
Generated outputs sometimes may be inaccurate or misleading, or otherwise reflect content that does not represent Qualcomm’s views. As a result, please use your judgment to review and validate generated outputs to confirm accuracy. Use of the AI Features is at your own risk and subject to the provisions of the TOU located here, including without limitation the Disclaimers in Section 7 and Limitation of Liability in Section 8.
6. No Professional Advice
AI Features are not intended for professional advice. Do not use AI Features to seek or provide legal, medical, financial, or other kinds of professional advice or any opinions, judgments, or recommendations without conducting your own independent consultation or research. AI Features cannot replace advice provided by a qualified professional and do not form any such relationship.
7. Markings or Notices
Qualcomm may attach or publish markings or notices to content created with AI Features to let people know it was generated with AI.
8. Additional Content Sources
The output from AI Features may include non-generative content (e.g., product documentation, etc.) that will remain subject to the terms of any applicable agreement(s) with Qualcomm.
9. Data Privacy and Security
The AI Features may collect and process data. Our practices with respect to the information we collect are described in our privacy policy which is available at www.qualcomm.com/privacy. You should be aware of the following:
- Personal information is handled with the utmost care and is not shared with third parties without user consent, except as required by law.
- You should avoid sharing personal information through the AI Features unless you comply with all data protection and privacy laws and regulations applicable to the personal information, including providing privacy notices and obtaining consent, where required.
10. Monitoring and Enforcement
We reserve the right to monitor the use of AI Features to ensure compliance with these Guidelines. In case of any violations, we may take appropriate actions, including but not limited to:
- Issuing warnings
- Temporarily or permanently suspending user access
- Reporting violations to relevant authorities when necessary
11. Modifications to the Policy
We may update these Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable laws. Your continued use of the AI Features after any such change will constitute your acknowledgment of and agreement to any revised version of these Guidelines.
