The Qualcomm Aqstic audio codec (WCD 9335) supports high-resolution standards that recording studios use to master tracks, creating a pure audiophile listening experience. It has an integrated DAC (digital-to-analog converter) that supports Hi-Fi audio playback up to 192kHz/24bit PCM. The DAC on the Qualcomm Aqstic codec has ultra-low Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise (THD+N), which means no additional noise or signal is added for the most authentic sound reproduction possible.
