PRINTERS AND IMAGING
Printer and imaging technologies from Qualcomm Technologies enable high-fidelity conversion solutions for printable and viewable content for the most widely used file formats. Our software solutions are designed to be easily and seamlessly integrated into printer products and productivity solutions. Our hardware platforms include cost-effective print controller options that enable a range of devices, from consumer inkjets to enterprise copiers.
The Qualcomm® DirectOffice™ SDK for Enterprise Solutions enables high-quality conversion for use in desktop, mobile, and web applications. The DirectOffice SDK software converts Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files to viewable formats with a high-fidelity rendering of the original document. Users can view their documents directly inside the application, using the same conversion technology on all platforms, to ensure information remains secure and information governance policies are met.
Ensure compatibility between industry leading printing systems and the Qualcomm® IPS™ Universal Print Interpreter, with support for all standard page description languages. Configure the IPS Universal Print Interpreter to use our IPS Integrated Font Solution, which provides compatibility with the resident 80-font and 93-font sets used in HP printers plus the 136-font set used in Adobe printers. Enable advanced printing use cases by including Qualcomm® DirectOffice™ Document Conversion Software, which transforms a printer or MFP into a productivity hub that can directly view and print Microsoft Office documents.
Develop a next-generation product portfolio with connected printers, scanners, AIOs, and MFPs with the Qualcomm® Quatro™ Printer Platform. This family of system-on-chip (SoC) solutions includes a high-performance ARM CPU and programmable cores that enable developers to implement unique features, allowing OEMs to differentiate their products. These SoC solutions include a single firmware base so OEMs can efficiently build cost-effective controllers for a range of products, across different print speeds, marking types, and feature sets.
