Mobile and IoT security

Safeguard commercial devices and networks with Qualcomm® Government Technologies (QGOV) through mobile and IoT security. Our leadership in hardware-based security measures helps our government partners overcome the challenges of dynamic changes occurring in the wireless ecosystem.

Providing necessary protection for devices and networks.

Attacks can compromise an individual device or an entire network, leaving users susceptible to device failure, data and identity thefts, and even physical or personal safety threats. In our increasingly connected world, we must protect and defend devices against national security threats.

Bringing new levels of hardware-based security to devices.

In a world where almost everyone and everything is connected, the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ mobile security platform is built to guard your device data with vault-like security.

Qualcomm Snapdragon is a product of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and/or its subsidiaries.

Qualcomm Trusted Execution Environment

The Qualcomm® Trusted Execution Environment isolates secure and non-secure software operations. It offers a rigorously reviewed small code base and is based on ARM’s TrustZone architecture.

Wireless protocol security

Our wireless wide area network (WWAN) and transport layer security (TLS) protect in-transit data.

Secure boot storage

Our secure boot storage deters unauthorized code execution and offers a tamper-resistant root of trust in read-only memory (ROM) or e-fuses.

Secure storage and key provisioning

Our secure storage and key provisioning provides a one-time password (OTP) e-fuse memory for key and configuration storage and is capable of encrypted storage.

Secure debug

Our secure debug prevents Joint (European) Test Access Group (JTAG) debugger connections in commercial products and reverse engineering. It is set by e-fuse and offers support for secure return material authorization (RMA).

Hardware crypto

Our system-on-a-chip has Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) certifiable cryptographic engines and hardware keys for more robust, faster encrypt and decrypt operations.

Offering trust, visibility, and control.

Our mobile and IoT security solutions offer you the trust, visibility, and control you need as well as advanced performance and efficiency. Our enhanced security ensures overall system security and device health, a richer user experience for unobtrusive and efficient solutions, and an extensible platform for security services through open standards.

Security by construction

Hardware-anchored security assures device trust and attests end user identities via multi-factor authentication.

Security by observation

We provide the ability to detect attacks using artificial intelligence (AI).

Security by action

Tools to disable functions and sensors on mobile devices when used in secure locations.

Explore recent QGOV projects.

Our over 30 years of experience providing mobile and wireless technology solutions have assisted our government partners in improving national security.

5G

Our ultra-reliable, low-latency 5G technologies can enhance your capabilities and help you be prepared where failure is not an option.

Assured identity

Our continuous multi-factor authentication (CMFA) provides next-generation user and device verification using a continuous fusion of identification factors.

Qualcomm Fingerprint Sensor

Utilizing ultrasonic technology to enable 3D fingerprint collection, the Qualcomm® Fingerprint Sensor provides superior image quality for a near-perfect capture rate and better matching.

Critical security interface

Our critical security interface is a hardware-anchored unified API that extends app behaviors, user identity, and device health to provide granular and continuous forensic-level observation and intelligence on a mobile device.
