Build Beyond Limits.

Positional Tracking

Positional Tracking precisely maps the environment and estimates the location, position, and orientation of the XR Devices in six degrees of freedom within 3D space. This enables a developer to understand and track the end-user’s position relative to the world. XR content will render in the scene properly relative to the end user’s location, head position, and orientation completing the illusion that the virtual content is a part of the real world.

Local Anchors & Persistence

Local Anchors & Persistence enables AR content to be placed in 3D space at a given location, position, and orientation on the map generated through Positional Tracking—and persist them locally over time and through application sessions.

Object Recognition & Tracking

Object Recognition & Tracking enables recognition and tracking of 3D objects with known CAD metadata, or 3D objects that have been pre-scanned by the developer. Objects can trigger the launch of virtual content that can be overlaid on top of the object in 3D and tracked while it is in motion.

Spatial Mapping & Meshing

Spatial Mapping & Meshing enables the AR Glasses and VR/MR devices to sense depth and reconstruct the physical geometry of the environment in 3D. A triangle mesh overlaid on the geometry in the scene enables spatial computing experiences for users to interact with the physical environment in ways that realistically blur the lines between the physical and digital realities.

Occlusion

Occlusion leverages Spatial Mapping & Meshing to enable XR experiences to be occluded by the geometry of the physical space if the virtual content is blocked by a physical object from the perspective / pose of the end users AR Glasses.
