Explore bravely. Create confidently.

Create transformative AR experiences.

Develop unparalleled immersive headworn AR experiences that push the limits of creativity with Snapdragon Spaces. Add head-worn features to existing Smartphone apps or with familiar 3D tools, workflow, and app portability of leading 3D Engines Unreal Engine and Unity with support for Unity AR Foundation.

Open platform. Open ecosystem. Endless possibilities.

Snapdragon Spaces reduces developer friction providing a uniform set of AR features designed to be independent of device manufacturer. Snapdragon Spaces is compatible with the Khronos OpenXR specification to enable application portability and is the first headworn AR platform optimized for AR Glasses tethered to smartphones with a Khronos OpenXR standards conformant runtime. The platform enables developers to build 3D applications for AR glasses from scratch or add headworn AR features to existing Android smartphone applications to drive a unified, multiscreen experience between the smartphone screen in 2D and the real world in 3D.

Proven technology and innovation.

The Snapdragon Spaces platform is built upon cutting-edge and proven machine perception technology. This technology provides environmental and user understanding capabilities optimized for performance and low power consumption to enable the next generation of AR Glasses. Qualcomm Technologies is an AR pioneer with over a decade of research and development, creating AR experiences that sense and intelligently interact with the physical environment as well as the user to create the illusion that AR experiences are a part of the real world.

Building Together.

Working with Qualcomm Technologies gives you access to our network of partners to bring your ideas to life—and to market—faster and with a community of fellow developers with whom to create. Unite with an active community of Snapdragon Spaces developers so we can bravely explore, collaborate, and innovate in the AR space together.

Resources to fuel your innovation.

With the Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinder program, we’re teaming up with AR innovators to stretch the limits of reality. The Pathfinder program provides early access to Snapdragon Spaces technology, project funding, hardware dev kits, and co-marketing and promotion to bring ideas to life. We’re looking for developers to join us in this journey to create innovative applications for the next generation of AR glasses.
