A dual-phase, programmable single-cell Lithium-ion/polymer battery charger with >95% efficiency and Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The charger provides automatic input current limiting (AICL), supports USB BC 1.2, USB type-C, and Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 2.0 and 3.0 for maximum power capability and fast charging. These features greatly extend the power capability of current-limited USB-type hosts and DCP-type adapters. The SMB1380 dual phase operation allows for smaller inductors and higher efficiency.
