The SMB1396 is an auxiliary, dual input converter designed for 1SnP/2SnP high current wireless/cable charging applications. It features a phenomenal current output of 10 A and input
compatibility of up to 21.5 V; and SMB1396 can be configured to draw power from either of its dual inputs. When paired with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (QTI) comprehensive selection of standalone chargers, the SMB1396’s function as parallel chargers in either a dual or triple charging configuration to maximize current output while optimizing thermal spread of the device.
